Central Hostel - Rīga

Das im März 2006 neu errichtete Hostel bietet preisgünstige, bequeme Zimmer an einer ruhigen Straße im Zentrum von Riga. Das Hotel ist 5 min entfernt gelegen von den Bus- und Zugstationen und nur 10 min von der Altstadt. Ein Flughafen-Shuttle ist auf Anfrage verfügbar; die Rezeption ist rund um die Uhr geöffnet. Alle wichtigen Attraktionen Rigas befinden sich ganz in der Nähe des Hostels. Hier übernachten vor allem Besucher, die ungestört sein wollen, über keinen dicken Geldbeutel verfügen und in einer typischen lettischen Umgebung wohnen möchten. Das Frühstück ist gratis, die Standardzimmer verfügen über TV, DVD und Internet.

Einer der beiden Gemeinschaftsräume des Hotels liegt separat von den restlichen Räumen und bietet ein ideales Plätzchen um DVDs zu schauen, Shisha zu rauchen, nach lettischer Art in der Sauna zu schwitzen oder einen entspannten Abend am Kaminfeuer zu verbringen. Sollten Sie eher in Partystimmung sein, drehen Sie einfach die Musik auf und feiern bis zum Morgengrauen. Das Central Hostel liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend im Zentrum von Riga, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof, dem Busbahnhof, der Haltestelle des Flughafenbusses und der Altstadt entfernt. Hier wohnen Sie abseits der Touristenorte, sind aber dennoch nur wenige Schritte von den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten Rigas entfernt. Nach 4 Gehminuten gelangen Sie zu einem Einkaufszentrum und ein Lebensmittelgeschäft befindet sich im selben Gebäude. Zudem erwarten Sie in der unmittelbaren Umgebung mehrere preisgünstige Restaurants und Fast-Food-Restaurants.

From the airport: -Take the bus no. 22 and get off at the Stockmann shopping centre (2nd stop after the bridge). Walk straight (with the cinemas and shopping centre on your right.) - After that you will see the train station clock tower and a big shopping centre called Origo. Walk to the other side of the square in front of the train station (main entrance on your right) and cross to the street on your left. - Continue walking to the right (now on the other side) with yellow minibuses on your left and with Origo shopping centre behind you on your right. - Then, take the first street to the left, and after some metres turn again to the right, into E. Biznieka-Upisa street. Walk until number 20 (orange wooden building on corner with Visvalza street). From the train station: - Leave the main building and walk to the right side of the square in front of the train station; there cross the street and turn right. - Continue walking to the right, now on the other side with yellow minibuses on your left and with Origo shopping centre behind you on your right. - Then, take the first street to the left, and after some metres turn again to the right, into E. Biznieka-Upisa street. Walk until number 20 (orange wooden building on corner with Visvalza street). From the bus station: - Leave the bus station main building and walk to the left, under the railway bridge and continue to the right. You will find yourself at the Stockman shopping centre and Forum Cinemas. - Then walk straight ahead, with the cinemas and shopping centre on your right. - After that you will see the train station clock tower and a big shopping centre, Origo. Walk to the other side of the square in front of train station (main entrance on your right) and cross to the street on your left. - Continue walking to the right, now on the other side with yellow minibuses on your left and with Origo shopping center behind you on your right. - Then, take the first street to the left, and after some metres turn again to the right, into E.
